A Skill Building Class for Children with Special Needs

  *For Children with special needs ages 3-5

  *Focusing on achieving developmental milestones, interacting socially with peers, participating in teamwork/teambuilding activities, demonstrating appropriate emotional control, and acquiring new skills related to leisure and sport. 

    *Children will follow a schedule of activities, intertwining individual therapeutic goals with gross motor activities, socialization, teambuilding activities, games, and a variety of strategically adapted sports activities.

    * Positive reinforcement and behavioral strategies are used to assist children’s learning and mastery of skills.  Each child will participate in a standardized assessment, Comprehensive Evaluation in Recreation Therapy-Physical,  at first class followed by establishing 4 individualized goals and treatment plan.

East side Program dates are Wednesdays, from June  19– August 23 from 4:00-5:00

Cost: $360 for 10 week session


West Side Program dates are Mondays from June 5-August 21, 2017


Cost- Members: $425 

         Non members $450 for 12 week session
